Make Learning Golf Fun

Junior Golf Programs

Deer Creek Practice & Performance has developed fun and educational ways to introduce kids to the game of golf.

Golf teaches kids patience, discipline, confidence and honesty. It can be applied to everyday life and it’s a sport they can play their whole lives.

So when is the “right” time to introduce kids to the game? The coaches at Deer Creek Practice and Performance suggest the best time to start teaching juniors is when they are ready. The key to getting kids involved is to make golf fun. We’ve developed a variety of programs to choose from to help them find their own love for the game.

Junior League & Membership

The Junior League & Membership includes 11 nights of play at Deer Creek North & South courses. The first few on course sessions will focus on practice and development lessons and the remainder will be a combination of individual and team contests and events.

Operation OP36 Junior Program

These 9-hole events are designed to teach the golfers to learn and play the game from a hole-out perspective, while providing a motivating and educational experience for all!

Junior Camp

The Junior Camp Program is an immersive full week program developed to help juniors learn the skills, rules, and etiquette needed to play better golf. Juniors will learn the essential movement patterns and fundamentals of the game, such as putting, chipping, pitching, full swing, and club selection with on-course supervision and coaching.
