Ashley Vandenberg

DIRECTOR OF SALES & EVENTS

With over 14 years of event planning and hospitality experience, Ashley understands the importance of providing superior quality and excellence at every event. Having previously worked at some of the GTA’s most prestigious venues, Ashley joined the Deer Creek team in 2012. From beautiful weddings to stress-free corporate events, Ashley is here to ensure that every Deer Creek event is impeccably planned and executed.

Hayley Anderson

HOSPITALITY MANAGER

With over 10 years of experience in hospitality, focused on the restaurant and bar industry, Hayley joined the Deer Creek team in 2019 and quickly rose to Assistant Hospitality Manager. Overseeing the everyday operations pertaining to food and beverage, Hayley not only plays a large role within our events but also manages Jerry’s Taphouse, Deer Creek’s gastropub restaurant. Hayley was promoted to Hospitality Manager in December 2020.

Madison Mason

SALES & VENUE COORDINATOR

Having worked in the event planning industry for several years, Madison joined the Deer Creek team five years ago as an assistant in the events department, helping execute weddings every Saturday. In 2016, Madison made the transition to join our team full-time as one of our Sales and Events Coordinators. Since that time, Madison has worked tirelessly to make sure your experience at Deer Creek is one you will never forget!

Christina Gass

SALES AND VENUE COORDINATOR

Christina’s unique experience comes from 15 years working in the hospitality industry, including luxury hotels, where she excelled at remaining polished and efficient with her clients in all situations. Her attention to detail and natural ability to help clients source solutions ensures her excellence in events and corporate planning. Since joining the Deer Creek Team in August 2021, she remains committed to providing each guest with a personable experience.

Melissa Wanzeller

SALES AND VENUE COORDINATOR

Since joining the Deer Creek team as an assistant, Melissa’s acuity for organizing and planning exceptional events accelerated her promotion to Sales & Venue Coordinator. Melissa is passionate and dedicated to helping people make memorable moments and is committed to helping her clients bring their visions to life in fun and creative ways. Melissa’s favourite part of her job is knowing she is helping to make someone’s important day just as special as they are.

Rebecca Bush

SALES AND VENUE COORDINATOR

After working in the retail and sales industry for over seven years, Rebecca changed her path to pursue her passion for event planning in the hospitality industry. She has since coordinated many events at Deer Creek, including golf tournaments, weddings, corporate and special events. Rebecca loves the start-to-finish process of each event and excels at building relationships with her clients. Her favourite events are the ones when the client’s personality really comes to life with personalized decor and special touches.

Pradeep Batra

EXECUTIVE CHEF

Pradeep has spent over 25 years inspiring hotel guests and patrons throughout Canada, the U.S., and internationally with his culinary expertise and creativity. He has held high-level positions across North America, including the Westin Prince Toronto Hotel, Sheraton Red Deer and the Hyatt Regency Toronto. Pradeep’s love of great food crosses the globe and he has extensive knowledge of Californian, South West American, Canadian, Indian, Arabian, Mediterranean and Asian cuisines. His passion for learning and exploring new cultures has inspired Pradeep to create innovative dishes that not only entice his guests but excite them too.

Brittany Hunter

BANQUET MANAGER

With over 17 years of experience in the industry, Brittany has built a solid reputation for her exceptional customer service skills and passion for delivering excellence. Whether she is working behind the scenes or interacting with guests directly, Brittany ensures each detail is considered and that every client has an unparalleled guest experience. She delights in helping guests celebrate the moments that matter.

Ellis Perrin

DIRECTOR OF FOOD & BEVERAGE

Ellis joins Deer Creek as a seasoned Food & Beverage Director with over 20 years of experience across the industry, including nightclubs, restaurants, bars and spas, and with special events, including weddings and golf tournaments. However, Ellis’ real passion is building and leading a successful team that embodies positivity and creativity. Ellis enjoys a variety of sports and activities, but studying the newest food and beverage trends remains his number one passion.
